PhilHealth Caraga serves local communities in Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair 03-22-2024

BUTUAN CITY – Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) Caraga and Local Health Insurance Office-Butuan City joined hands and took an active role during the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair at the Caraga State University (CSU) campus here. The event held last March 22-23, 2024 served as a platform for fostering greater connectivity between citizens and government provisions.

The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair offered government services for the attendees who came from diverse backgrounds and communities. Said services included healthcare, education, and social welfare, among others.

Government agencies such as PhilHealth and the Department of Social Welfare, together with accredited PhilHealth Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama (Konsulta) providers took center stage. They registered attendees with PhilHealth and Konsulta, conducted consultation services and first patient encounter with primary care physicians, and addressed other concerns and inquiries. These manifested the fair's objective of ensuring that every Filipino has equitable access to healthcare services.

Activities such as this reaffirms PhilHealth commitment to building a healthier and more resilient Caraga, in addition to supporting community-driven initiatives aimed at national development and public welfare. Through collaborative efforts and strategic partnerships, PhilHealth continues to play an important role in advancing the nation's health care landscape, one community at a time.
